Previously on ‘Zookeeper Ernie’:
Alex and Lucy were having a very hostile discussion about Lucy sleeping with a zookeeper named Ernie. Lucy announced that she and Ernie would be starting a zebrafarm in New-Mexico, when Alex suddenly yelled:
‘OH MY GOD, LUCY, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT BEHIND YOU?!’
Now, on an all new ‘Zookeeper Ernie’, the story continues.
Lucy quickly turns around and looks to the back of the room. There’s nothing there. She turns back to Alex.
‘What are you tal…’
BAM! Before she can finish her question, Alex suddenly hits her on the side of the head with a wine bottle. The bottle breaks on her head. She falls to the floor, and as soon as her head hits the floor the blood gushing from the side of her head starts mixing with the red wine, and within a few moments there will be no distinction between the two. Lucy is unconscious.
‘Now don’t you go anywhere, darling.’ Alex smiles as he walks out the room. ‘I’ll get dessert.’
A few moments later he walks back in, holding a big heavy saw in his right hand.
‘Surely you have room for dessert?’
He walks up to Lucy, and kneels down next to her on the soaked carpet, drenching his knees in blood and wine.
‘You know, I always did find you too tall. I bet that’s how your pal Ernie feels too. How about doing us both a favor? Oh, that’s right. You can’t move. Well, allow me.’
Alex starts sawing off Lucy’s limbs. First the arms, then the legs, and finally the head. He grabs the head by the long dark hair, and while dark blood drips on the carpet, Alex holds the head in front of his and looks into Lucy’s lifeless eyes.
‘Don’t worry. You’ll see your friend again soon.’
Alex puts the head down on the floor, and lifts the saw up high, holding it with both hands. When the saw reaches the highest possible point, he smashes it into Lucy’s skull. A cracking noise is heard, and blood sprays against the creamy colored wallpaper.
‘I promise.’
